God is SO awesome!

The visit with the doctor went pretty good! We had the sonogram done and she weighs about 5lbs 10oz already! They say she could be around 8lbs or so if she makes it to her due date. ah! She wanted to keep what she looks like a surprise though so we couldn't see her face. She was sitting indian style in there too.. but they said that it still looks like a girl! whew! :) She is head down facing my back...we are all ready to go!! I was already 1cm dilated and go to the doctor again this Thursday for them to check me again. We put her car seat in the car today just in case and her diaper bag is pretty much packed..just need to put a few more things in there and we will be ready!

Ok. So..at one of our visits we asked the doctor if there would be any way of scheduling her birth date since Josh is in school and we now live an hour and a half away from the hospital. She said that it wouldn't be a problem but that the earliest they could do it would be the 13th of September because I wouldn't be 39 weeks until then..which was fine with us because we want her to be in there as long as possible. We asked about a Friday because Josh made out his schedule to where he only had one class on Fridays so that if he had to miss it wouldn't be THAT big of a deal. She said that we couldn't schedule it for a Friday unless they were on call that weekend and they wouldn't know that until the first of September. Well..Josh started school and the teacher of the class that he has on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (on Wednesday) said that he would give makeup tests if they had a good enough reason...(woohoo!! We didn't really think he would need it but just in case.. that was awesome!) Then the teacher asked Friday's class if they would mind making Monday and Wednesdays classes 30 minutes longer and not having class on Friday at all! (HOLY COW!! THAT'S PERFECT!) All we were waiting on then was to call Dr. Purvis' office on September 1st to see if he would be on call on the 16th. Ok. So then Josh told me Saturday that MS State wasn't going to have classes at all on the date of their first home football game which is sometime in September..so we go online and it's Thursday September 15!!! This couldn't have worked out any better! Now...WHO CARES WHO IS ON CALL ON FRIDAY THE 16TH!! We are so so so excited..God couldn't have worked that out any better...
We do know that she could come early..of course we are hoping that doesn't happen but if it does we are sure God has a better plan. :)
