Grace can walk! ...with help...

On Monday Grace took her first steps "by herself"! I was washing dishes and had the dishwasher lid down and she was playing in the floor around it..well she pulled herself up to stand by it and with a little motivation (puffs) she walked around the dishwasher (while holding on tightly) to get them! She tried to climb on top of the dishwasher first but when that didn't work she walked around. I was so proud of her! She is really getting around now! She is getting really good at crawling, rolling and pulling up to get to where she wants to go. :)

Yesterday I got sick. :/ I thought it was just because I always seem to feel terrible the day after I do a Jillian DVD.. which Grace and I had done Monday afternoon...but around 8:30pm I found out that wasn't the case...I "got sick" around 8 times from 8:30pm - 12:45am. Mom knew about it and offered to come over if I needed her to so by 12:45am I asked. She has been so much help today. I haven't been able to touch Grace today..which is good (but sad for me). I am feeling a little better but not near 100% so she is staying the night tonight to make sure she can help with Grace tomorrow if I'm not better. Please pray that Josh, Grace or Mom don't get sick.

Josh had a great first father's day! We started it off with donuts from Shipley's, went to church (on time!), came home and took some father/ daughter pictures...this part was probably a little more fun for me. :) Then Josh's mom got to come visit for a couple of hours. :)

Grace's First Craft

Yesterday, Grace and I wanted to do something special for Daddy for Father's Day. So! I found a craft idea online that I thought Grace could do and while she was napping I drew a tree trunk, cut it out and glued it to a piece of paper and after lunch we went to town with paint and her hand prints. :) I had to have pictures of her doing her first craft so I got out the tripod.....

I had so much fun doing this with her and luckily she didn't try to put her hands in her mouth...which I was a little nervous she would do. :)
